Stanzas for Meditation is a series of lucid
passages pertaining to the nature of the
Atman, or ‘True Self’.
The stanzas are set out in a style that allows
each to be contemplated in its own right, and
not necessarily within the context of statements
that may precede or follow. Ideally the purpose
of the stanzas is that they be read one or a few
at a time to prepare the mind for meditation.
